Connect Claude

Claude can read your classes, assignments, notes and question bank — and add questions, flashcards and note pages — through this app's MCP server.

claude.ai (web, desktop, phone)

  1. Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Study; URL: https://api.syllabi.studio/study/mcp. Leave client ID and client secret empty.
  3. Sign in with your Syllabi email + password when it asks, then approve the consent screen.

Phone inbox

Send photos and PDFs from your iPhone straight to this tablet. They land in the Inbox, ready to drop onto a board, into notes or into the question bank.

Set it up once on the iPhone; after that, any photo or PDF goes to Study from Share → “Send to Study”.

    In Shortcuts, create a new shortcut (“Send to Study”). In its settings (ⓘ), turn on Show in Share Sheet.

    Set Receive to Images and PDFs.

    Optional: a Text field named “note” (up to 500 characters), and a Show Notification “Sent to Study”.

    Several photos at once: wrap step 2 in Repeat with Each (item = Shortcut Input).

    Then set the “file” field to Repeated Item. The server takes one file per request.

HEIC photos need no conversion. If an upload ever fails with “could not convert this HEIC photo”: Add a Convert Image step (format JPEG) before Get Contents of URL in the Shortcut.

One-off send: scan with the iPhone camera

Opens an upload page in Safari for a quick send without the Shortcut. The page removes the token from the address bar as soon as it loads, so a bookmark or Home Screen icon made from it will not work. For everyday use, set up the Shortcut above.
